Yellowstone National Park is an amazing place. I think you could spend a summer there and not see everything.
One of the things that surprised me was the amount of geothermal features, there must be thousands. It’s so impressive.

This picture I took in late May of Yellowstone Lake looked like something from a postcard to me. Interestingly enough, there were some geothermal features nearby and even under the water where this picture was taken. These pictures were all taken in the West Thumb Geyser Basin. The elk in the last picture below was just hanging out wandering between all the features just like another tourist. rk
